My name is Rachel and I'm 26 years old. I'm originally from Memphis, Tennessee (United States) and I've been living and teaching English in Chile for almost 4 years. I have a university degree in Education and I am bilingual (English, Spanish).
I work with students to help them improve their English level. Some students need English to get a better job. Other students need English because they want to study in another country. Also, English can be useful for vacations to other countries and watching tv shows or listening to music.
I help students understand the tricky parts of English by making everything simple. I understand when my hispanohablante students make errors, and because I speak their language I usually know why they made those errors. This makes it easy for me to correct quickly, and it also makes it easy for the student to remember the rule.
