Relaxed Pronunciation refers to the habit we have in English (and Spanish-- I'm lookin' at you, Chileans!) to combine two words into one faster, easier to pronounce word. This speech is informal and should not be used in standard or formal speaking or writing contexts, but it is very common in everyday conversation. It can be difficult to identify relaxed pronunciation if you aren't already familiar with it. Look at this chart with the most common relaxed pronounciations in English.
